Meet Mani Gmelin

Hello! I’m Mani, the founder of Lee Artistry. I began my entrepreneurial journey in 2017 at 17 as a self-taught artist. It wasn’t until 2020 that my business really started to take off. I had started offering artwork targeted towards small business owners, and with COVID, people were in their houses and looking to start their own businesses.

 

For the first time, almost 3 years after starting, I was making a full-time income from my art. It was amazing, but also overwhelming. My services were mainly low cost small projects. I was not only undercharging, but I had to do so much work just to earn a decent amount. It wasn’t until 2021 that I finally chose to increase my prices and I started to branch out more into graphic design rather than just illustration.

 

For the last 3 years, I have worked on improving my craft and offering new services. I want to offer my clients something that isn’t just a logo design or a drawing, but is professional, cohesive, and unique in a way that will be a long-lasting representation of their brand.
